pulls the attached mask over his head, admires his look a bit and then gives a nice evil snicker here before prancing onto the field like an actual little lamb.īut just as he's got an actual sheep cornered, Ralph finds the zipper on his sheep costume is stuck!Īnd of course in classic Looney Tunes fashion, his disguise is so good it fools a sheep herder, scooping him up to shear his long wool. Naturally, for Ralph's first disguises, he chooses to literally be a wolf in sheep's clothing! (Just like the title pun of this cartoon!)
Sometimes when I punch in and out of my job I'm reminded of these cartoons.īut for this installment, Ralph Wolf is sticking with disguises! Check out the rack and the bags his costumes come in! Of course, the Ralph and Sam cartoons are no stranger to good disguise gags, so I was pretty excited about this one, especially since after "Looney Tunes: Back in Action" bombed miserably the Looney Tunes were lacking good disguise gags prior to this series. I still love that idea of them just being working men, er, furs. I can't believe it's been a month since the latest batch of new Looney Tunes Cartoons has been released on HBO Max, and only now I am doing a blog post about this particular short! The one I am talking about is "A Wolf in Cheap Clothing," a Ralph Wolf and Sam Sheepdog cartoon!Īs they typically do, the cartoon opens with Ralph and Sam punching into their job.
